Staff at CETE have selected a set of sample test items for assessments associated with the OCTCA system. The purpose of these documents is to give WebXam users an idea of the types of test items that students are likely to encounter.
The sample items have all been used in WebXam but are now released for public viewing. Because these items are publicly available, they will no longer appear on the published assessments.
Each item is linked to the corresponding Ohio Career Field Technical Content Standard using Unit-Competency-Descriptor. Each item is also marked with a level designator of C1 or C2 that is based on the six levels of the 2001 revision of Bloom's taxonomy. C1 items correspond to the learning outcomes of Knowledge and Comprehension. C2 items correspond to the learning outcomes of Application, Analysis, Evaluation, and Synthesis. Various websites have more detailed information on Bloom's Taxonomy; one brief summary can be found here: http://uwf.edu/cutla/assessstudent.cfm
Additional sample items will be released as the test development process continues for other WebXam assessments.
