Contains activities to assist adult basic and literacy education practitioners in developing programs that address the following quality indicator areas: learner achievement, program environment, program planning, curriculum and instruction, staff development, support services, recruitment, and retention. Each activity description includes steps for implementation, limitations, required materials, and recommended classroom arrangement.
